Guy Tidmarsh. My father, Eric George
TIDMARSH, was born at Little Compton around 1912. One of five children, Dennis, Stanley, Else, and Phillis. At some stage the family moved to Morton-in- Marsh. I believe my Grandfather is commemorated on the war memorial, in the churchyard, W G Tidmarsh. He was killed in action on 28th May 1915 while with the 2nd Buffs. The latter gave 'residence' as 'Little Compton' , and was born at Bourton-on-the-hill.
