In addition to the above there is a scrap of paper dated 1813 which indicates that John Mills had agreed to work for David Robins but they had a disagreement and parted by mutual consent.

"Appeared Mr. Jasper Robins who agreed on the receipt of £10 to apprentice to himself his youngest brother Edward - to pay the expenses of the Indentures and not to apply to the Parish for relief for his Mother or any of his family until Michaelmas 1829".
