"IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Richard Roberts of Paxford in the County of Worcester Weaver being of sound mind and memory Do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) FIRST I give devise and bequeath unto my said loving wife Hannah Roberts All that my new built messuage or tenement situate and being in Paxford aforesaid together with all houses and buildings thereunto belonging And also all my lands and common and common of pasture in the fields liberties and precincts of Paxford aforesaid with their appurtenances TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises and every part thereof unto my said wife for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I give devise and bequeath the same unto my son Thomas Roberts his heirs and assigns AND all the rest residue and remainder of my worldly goods and estates whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my loving wife to be at her own disposal and I do hereby nominate and appoint my said wife Hannah Roberts sole executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former or other will or wills by me at any time heretofore made and desiring this alone to be my last will and to desire that my cousin Joseph Roberts of Clopton will assist my Executrix in the execution thereof and so this my last will performed IN WITNESS whereof I the said Richard Roberts have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of March in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy.
